Enerhash Gridshare JV has installed data centers of 2 MW capacity at the site of a 7 MW hydro power plant in New Zealand. Main goal of the project was to utilize the excess capacities of the power plant with an on-site consumer and thus, improve its utilization rates.

Integration of the data centers into the operation of the power plant has proven to be a success. We have introduced a price-optimization system that decides whether the current market price of the price offered by the data center is more favorable for the power plant and regulates the direction of electricity based on that, maximizing revenues achieved by the plant.
